Dr. Xianqin Yang

Dr. Yang is a research scientist at the Agriculture Canada and Agri-Food Research and Development Centre in Lacombe, Alberta.  Her research is focused on enhancing food safety during the process of slaughtering animals all the way to consumption of finished meat products by consumers. She received her PhD from the University of Waterloo in 2007 in microbiology.
